Mai Chau has long been a destination for travelers in search of beauty. The French soldiers, or so the story goes, would make special trips from their outpost at Dien Bien Phu in the far northwest reaches of Vietnam to the village ome 200 miles away. They didn't come to take advantage of the breathtaking scenery of the surrounding mountains,

Day 1  :  Hanoi - city Tour (L )

At 9.00 AM, we start the city tour to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple. Then continue to visit the Temple of Literature well known as Vietnam’s first university and the peaceful lake of Hoan Kiem with its sacred Ngoc Son Temple. Free afternoon for shopping. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 2 :   Hanoi  -Mai Chau valley  ( B, L, D )

At 8.30 Traveling 160 km to the province of Hoa Binh, we pass through a region of spectacular limestone mountains and tea plantations to arrive in Mai Chau. We spend the night in a village long house of the White Thai minority, experiencing their wonderful hospitality, traditional dancing and rice wine.

Overnight with local family in Mai Chau on stilt-house. 

Day 3 :  Mai Chau -Hanoi (B, L, D )

After breakfast we go for an enjoyable stroll through the valley visiting 5 of the local villages. We have lunch in one of the villages and return to Hanoi

At 17.30 Come back Hanoi

Day 4 :  Hanoi - Halong bay ( B, L,D )

 At 8.00 AM: Pick up at your hotel to leave for Ha Long. Stop over at ceramic and hand embroidery workshops in Hai Duong City (15 minute).

At 12.00  Arrive in Halong Bay, embark a wooden boat for a cruise in Halong Bay and have lunch with seafood

PM: Visit some magical grottoes: Sung Sot cave, Titop beach, the fish – farm, enjoy the view of Halong and then stop for a swim or taking photos …Lunch and dinner of fresh seafood are served on board. After dinner, free time for relax or take part in fun games. O/N on boat

Day 5:   Halong bay - Hanoi -   Leaving (  B )

A fully morning for exploring the rest of Ha Long. And then return to Hanoi. We stop at Dong Trieu village famous for its ceramic wares. We can observe the locals working at this traditional art and admire or purchase the many beautiful items.

There is a free time for you to relax or further explore Hanoi. The trip ends after your transfer to Noibai Airport for your ongoing flight. End of the tour.
