Day 1 : Hochiminh city and arrival ( D )

Arrive at Tan San Nhat airport. Welcome by your local guide and driver. Transfer to your hotel. Take an orientation tour in the afternoon (if time permits). Welcome dinner. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Ho Chi Minh city. 

Day 2 : Hochiminh city tour ( B/L/ )

Breakfast at the hotel. Begin a sightseeing tour by visiting the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until the end of the war in April 1975, and some French colonial structures including Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Central Post Office. Tour of Chinatown and Thien Hau and Quan Am pagodas. After seeing the Emperor Jade Pagoda and the War Remnants Museum we end the city tour with a visit to Ben Thanh market where anything and everything is for sale. Dinner o­n guest‘s account. Overnight at your chosen hotel in HCMC.

 Day 3 : Hochiminh city – Tay Ninh – Cu Chi tunnels ( B/L )

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive west to Tay Ninh, the centre of Caodaism. O­n arrival we attend the fantastic mid-day temple service when the followers fill the hall wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. O­n the way back, stop to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground network of tunnels constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the struggle for independence.

 The tunnels contained hospitals, accommodation, etc. and were used as a military base for the Vietcong during the American war. Drive back to HCMC. Dinner o­n guest‘s account. Overnight at your chosen hotel in HCMC.

Day 4 : Hochiminh city - My Hiep - Sadec - Can Tho - Phong Dien (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Cao Lanh. O­n arrival at My Hiep, take the motorised boat to get into the Xeo Quit base - a former Viet Cong base. Enjoy the boat cruise around the swamps and the forest. Lunch. Cross the Upper Mekong delta by boat to admire the charms of the river, travel to Sadec, visit the Tu Ton flowers garden. Proceed to Cantho. Dinner cruise o­n the Hau river. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Cantho.

 Day 5 : Phong Dien - Cai Rang – Hochiminh city (B/L)
After breakfast, take the morning boat trip to visit the Phong Dien floating market and experience the sights, sounds and smells of this thriving traditional market. Keep cruising through the small channels system and visit a village where rice noodles are made. Experience the "Monkey bridge" in the Delta. Visit the second floating market of Cai Rang. Break for lunch. Return to Ho Chi Minh city. Stop to relax at the Bonsai garden in My Tho. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Can Tho.

Day 6 : Hochiminh city – Departure ( B )

Breakfast at the hotel. Free until transfer to the airport for departure
